Repeat Prescriptions (SERVICE FINISHES 30-11-17) See Next Tab

Repeat prescriptions may be obtained by:

  • Handing in re-order form to reception stating drugs required.
  • By telephoning 01505 681511 between the hours of 09:00 & 11:00 stating the prescription required.
  • Posting the request, enclosing a stamped addressed envelope.
  • Alternatively, you can order your repeat prescription by registering for the new Patient Access System. Please see next tab.

The completed prescription may be collected 24-48 hours later. Repeat prescriptions can be collected at reception, or directly from the local chemists, either at Main Street or Holmhead in Kilbirnie, or from Well Pharmacy or Penmans in Beith. Patients must inform the receptionist where they wish to collect their prescription.

Repeat prescriptions are issued for items which have been agreed by a doctor previously. All patients with repeat prescriptions should be seen at predetermined intervals by a doctor. Prescriptions should be ordered well in advance.

Items that are not on your paper repeat prescription list (Special Requests) cannot be ordered online and must be ordered from the surgery.

If your paper re-order form is not correct, please let us know. We can then correct it for you.

** Please note that in line with good practice, we do not issue regular prescriptions for abusable or addictive substances – please do not ask for these as refusal often offends.
